The situation of our mother tongue outside Polish borders, the education and promotion were discussed on 17th December 2012, during the conference "Polish language in the world - challenges and prospects". The project was organized by the European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Regional Centre for European Information is a partner of this year's open day, organized by the Lublin branch of the National Bank of Poland, and the Polish Association of Numismatic Office in Lublin. Open days will be held from 1-2 December 2012, from 10.00 - 14.00 at the office of the Polish National Bank, Chopin street 6. We invite you to participate in a free training project NGO Master - MBA for NGOs. We offer 122 hours. training, including: 7 sessions away on weekends (in the period December-March), consultation with the tutor. Courses start in December 2012 in the vicinity of Warsaw, Rzeszow and Gdansk.
European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation, together with the Association of the Carpathian Euroregion Poland, invites employees of local government units to participate in the project " Professional Councilor " co-financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of our project is to increase the competence of local governments in the field of international cooperation at social and economic level.
Nowy Staw Foundation is a partner in an international cycle of trainings for trade union leaders from Poland, Lithuania and Romania. The course organized by the Foundation and Akademia Ignatianum runs from 14th until 20th of October. Its topic is leadership and research in workers organizations.
Europe Direct Information Point - Lublin organized a training seminar "Youth Entrepreneurship" for the representatives from the schools of Lublin. The training was attended by over 40 teachers and students of last school classes.

We kindly inform that the project GIVE A PAW!, which took place in Nasutów on 16-23 July was successfully completed. Young people from six European countries were debating about the issue of animal rights and the man’s attitude towards domestic animals, they also cooperated in the creation of social campaign, promoting animal adoption and the help for homeless animals.

On July 11-21 in the House Nasutów and Lublin an international culinary project will take place. It will bring together young people from Greece, Moldova, Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and Georgia.
Soon in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów a youth exchange ‘GIVE A PAW!’ will be held. From 16th-23rd July the youths interested in the subject of humane treating of animals will cooperate to create a social campaign promoting an adoption of homeless animals.
The competition is organized by the Regional European Information Centre and the Polish National Bank branch in Lublin. Its directed to residents of Lublin (there is no age limit).
One month before the 7th Economic Forum of Young Leaders starts, we are inviting students from Poland and Germany to participate in the youth seminar in Lublin. Journalistic workshops, debates on economic and political topics and preparation to the Forum. It’s all about this.

Between 24th May – 1st June 2012 an international youth exchange „Reportage – stereotype breaker” took place in our meeting centre in Nasutów. Around 30 participants from Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy and Turjey participated in this event.
Under the slogan "What if not Euro?" in the Blue Room of the Regional Office of Lublin the XII Congress of European School Clubs took place.

Last Friday (31st March) we finished second transnational student seminar entitled “Student on the labour market”. According to participants it was a project full of intensive but also fruitful work.

Between 25th – 31st March 2012 in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów an international student seminar is going to be held. Students from countries such as: Poland, Latvia, Romania, Italy, Greece and Turkey are going to participate in this event.
Entrepreneurs, unemployed, representatives of NGOs, local government workers, farmers – these groups were already trained by us on the European funds. In March we organize a first training of this type for the Border Guards.

Europe Direct – Lublin Information Point organized again a training about how to start up a business and how to get money from EU for this purpose.
Between 5th – 9th February 2012 in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów we hosted youth workers and young leaders, participating in „Evaluation for quality” project. It was last meeting realized within long lasting multimeasure project “Towards active participation”.
We are proud to announce that all the workshop’s objectives that were established have been fulfilled. Workshop participants received proposed workshop with great enthusiasm and interest.

The second part of Polish-German- Dance-Workshops took place in Nasutów between 28th January and 4th February. The group of young people, which took part in workshops in Blossin, met once again, this time in Nasutów, to create a common choreography.
This workshop for youth from the Lublin Region will be run by informal group of young people "Radioactive". These workshops will be held from 8th till 11th February 2012 in the Meeting Ceentre in Nasutów near Lublin.
The 2nd part of Polish-German Dance-Workshops will take place in Nasutów between 28th January and 4th February.
Between 5th – 9th February in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów contact making seminar is going to be held. It is third and the last meeting within multimeasure project “Towards active participation”.
