YEAR 2012 NEWS

Between 25th – 31st March 2012 in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów an international student seminar is going to be held. Students from countries such as: Poland, Latvia, Romania, Italy, Greece and Turkey are going to participate in this event.

It’s gonna be second transnational students seminar organized by European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation. The first – “Student – be active”,  was organized last year between 6th – 11th May.

International survey conducted in partner countries will be the preparation for the seminar – the same survey within 3 main subject will be conducted in 6 European countries in order to have data for an international workshops and debates between 26th – 28th March. Discussions will be divided into 3 daily themes:

1. Experience during studies (voluntary work, work for subject, practices/scholarships)
2. Different forms of activeness on the labour market (own business, contract work, freelance)
3. Novice on the labor market (effective ways of finding new job, good interview, common mistakes while looking for a job)

International conference with experts will be the culmination point of the program.
It will take place on 29th March on Humanistic Department of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Start at 10:00
