ABOUT THE FOUNDATION .VOLUNTEER WORK IN NOWY STAW FOUNDATION
European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation bases its work on cooperation with volunteers. Voluntary work in our organization gives you a chance to: realize your own ideas and initiatives, to gain leadership skills, to work in a dynamic team, to learn how to manage with the project.

FOR WHO?
Volunteer work in the Foundation is for every young, motivated, active people, who in creative way want to influence their surrounding reality. We cooperate with secondary school pupils, students and also graduates.
HOW MUCH TIME THROUGHOUT WEEK?
Our volunteer do not have to spend strict hours in the office – he establishes by himself his working hours and time, he can sacrifice for his activity. We cooperate with our volunteers using project and workshop methods.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
In our organization you can be involved in two basic sections:
1. 1. Civic education
– volunteer in this section has the opportunity to deepen his knowledge concerning European Union and also incoming Polish Presidency in the Council of European Union, European funds, civic society.
In this section you can:
- Organize training courses and workshops concerning European subjects
- Organize conferences and seminars
- Lead European lessons in all schools from Lublin voivodeship
You can also:
- Participate in training courses concerning gaining European funds
- Practice public addresse
2. 2. International youth cooperation :
– persons involved in this section have the chance to realize their own international projects, going through the entire cycle: from the momentum of creating the idea, through writing an application till realization and evaluation.In frame of international cooperation you can:
- Gain leadership skills
- Widen knowledge in the field of writing EU applications
- Get practical knowledge about project management
- Meet people from EU countries and neighbouring countries
- Organize international youth exchanges, training courses, debates, seminars etc.
The theme of projects, way of realization is totally up to you: you collect partners, set dates of the project and the schedule by yourself.
Here are some examples of our volunteers activities:
