YEAR 2012 NEWS

Till 10th August 2012 we are accepting notifications from people who are interested in participation in 7th Economic Forum of Young Leaders, which will be held between 3rd and 7th September 2012 in Nowy Sacz.

Young leaders from all over Europe will meet in Poland to create ideas for the future of Europe.

Economic Forum of Young Leaders is a platform for dialogue, exchange experience and establishing contacts between young people from the European Union, the Balkans and Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. The main message of the Forum is to create ideas for the future of Europe, a meeting place for Poland, as a natural bridge between East and West.

Each year, the Forum brings together eminent personalities from the worlds of politics, economy and science. In previous years Forum guests were among others: Mikhail Saakashvili (Georgian President), Jose Maria Aznar (former Prime Minister of Spain), Giorgi Baramidze (Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia), Jan Krzysztof Bielecki (former Prime Minister 1991-93), Danuta Hübner (European Commissioner for Regional Policy), Milan Kučan (President of Slovenia in the years 1990-2002), Janusz Lewandowski (EU Commissioner for the Budget), Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz (Prime Minister in 2005-2006), Aleksander Milinkevich (leader of the Movement for Freedom, Belarus).

Forum beside lectures, panel discussions and presentations of companies and regions, is also a place of informal meetings, business evenings, cultural events in which young leaders can directly exchange their experiences and establish new business contacts. The forum is also a program of political education for young leaders in Europe.

The cost of participation in the Forum, partially funded by the Organizer, is 150 euro.

The participation fee covers:

• participation in 7th Economic Forum of Young Leaders
• participation in selected sessions of the Economic Forum in Krynica
• accommodation and meals during the Forum

Participants individually covers travels costs to Nowy Sącz.

Seats are limited. The order of application decides.
