EUROPEAN MEETING CENTRE - NOWY STAW FOUNDATION
The project entitled "United for Minorities" was held on 29.9.2014 - 10.6.2014 in Nasutów (near Lublin). The youth exchange involved 21 young people aged 18-30 years from Poland, Turkey, Armenia and Portugal.
The theme of the youth exchange was the issue of national minorities living in our communities, their rights, attitudes towards them and their functioning in society. The aim of the project was to make a kind of reflection on this important social issue, to stimulate young people to search for information and discussion of the problems of minorities and attempts to resolve them.
In the frame of the project, young people were also able to participate in media workshops (video, newspapers, radio) and to gain basic reporter skills.
The final result of our efforts was the create 3 forms of reportage / street survey on national minorities in Lublin.
