Over 350 young leaders from 42 countries meet in Poland to come up with new ideas for the future of Europe. Debates of young people with representatives of social, political and business life organised for 9 years now are aimed at creating such ideas.

During mutual discussions and workshops new ideas are developed, new inspirations are created and new decisions on taking mutual actions are made. They are meant to generate a change in the future. It is here that future elites acquire their knowledge.

The 9th Economic Forum of Young Leaders takes place between 2nd and 5th of September 2014 in Nowy Sącz. The programme will focus on the following thematic areas: global security, Europe’s future and architecture, economic growth, youth entrepreneurship, business management, leadership and the role of young generation in the contemporary world.

Economic Forum of Young Leaders is the biggest international social and economic meeting of leaders of young generation in the European Union. For 9 years now it has stirred enormous interest. The Forum creates good opportunities for making international business contacts and sharing knowledge and experience. Participants have an opportunity to meet and talk to leading politicians, economists, Heads of states and international corporations.

The Forum serves as a platform for the exchange of young people’s views on the future of the European Union and the whole European continent.  The mission of the Forum is to create ideas for the future of Europe. Each year, almost 350 young leaders form the East and West of Europe, representing 42 countries of the European Union, Eastern Europe, the Balkans and the Caucasus participate in this dialogue. They represent civic, social, political and economic organizations.

The programme includes panel discussions, lectures, business presentations, thematic workshops and also a banquet and a reception organized in the Town Hall by the President of Nowy Sącz.
