EUROPEAN MEETING CENTRE - NOWY STAW FOUNDATION
Primary School students from school number 14 in Lublin began this year's campaign "Summer with the central bank", organized by the Lublin Regional Branch of Polish National Bank in collaboration with the Regional Centre for European Information in Lublin and the Lublin Voivodship Office in Lublin.
The project aims to provide knowledge about the upcoming Polish Presidency of the EU Council in an attractive, interesting and tailored to the age of the recipients. Activities related to the euro are aimed at better understanding of European Union countries, bringing issues connected with the euro and to encourage awareness about the European Union.
At the meeting, students participated in numerous games and activities on the occasion of deepening their knowledge of European Union countries, the Presidency and the euro.
Moreover, children watched the movie by Tomasz Baginski promoting the Polish presidency in the Council of the European Union.

Project participants who will gather stamps in the Polish National Bank and in Lublin Provincial Office, will be able to take part in art competition "Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union".

The competition is designed for children aged 5 to 18 years, participants of the "Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union", which will be held on 29 June - 22 July 2011
Contestants will have to prepare your own work, which will present their idea of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Entries will evaluate the objective jury.
For the winners of the most interesting work will receive attractive prizes, including Silver coin 10 PLN sponsored by Polish National Bank and other prizes.
