02.09.2009 Lublin For friendship ! Viva Polonia! Viva Germania! European Centre of Youth Co-operation

Polish – German meeting took part between 9th and 19th of August. 12 people from Bonn and Dusseldorf and 12 from Lublin, spent first two days in Wrocław, where they got a chance to know each other and experience muliticultural atmosphere of the city. In European Meeting House in Nasutów, young German and Polish took part in the workshop run by German volunteers working in Poland.The subject of the workshop was a mutual experience of both nations and building the base for cooperation.

Attendants could feel the multicultural atmosphere of Lublin during annual Jagiellonian Market. Visiting Majdanek Concentration Camp and taking part in the lecture titeled “Polish and German – common history - obstacle or challenge?” created the perfect base for further discussion during next days of the exchange. A”Swedish”version of chess and playing volleyball were a great way of relax during the event.
