Developmental tendencies of companies and demand for work in Lubelskie Voivodeship in the context of organization of Euro 2012 by Poland and Ukraine – diagnosis and prognosis

The Project „Developmental tendencies of companies and demand for work in Lubelskie Voivodeship in the context of organization of Euro 2012 by Poland and Ukraine – diagnosis and prognosis” has started on 1st June 2009 on the ground of the contract with Urzad Marszalkowski of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Project is being realized within the framework of Action 8.1 Development of employees and companies in region, 8.1.2 Support of adaption and modernization processes in region.

The main purpose of project is to gain and provide full information that enables efficient forming of employment policy in Lubelskie Voivodeship and also adequate to present economical situation in the region, in the context of organization of Euro 2012.

The particular purposes of project are:

• gaining of complex data about needs, possibilities and directions of development of companies in Lubelskie Voivodeship,
• providing of high quality empirical anylisis and prognosis concerning possible trends and economic changes in Lubelskie Voivodeship, including demand for work in scarce occupations, especially in the context of Euro 2012,
• providing the tools of forming employment policy in Lubelskie Voivodeship to organizations of companies, local self-governments, institutions of labour market, etc.,
• providing prognosis of influence of organization Euro 2012 on development of companies and demand for work to organizations of companies, local self-governments, institutions of labour market, etc.

We begin promotion and informative activities including: creating of website of the project, purchase of visualization board, inventing and producing of promotion materials (leaflets, banner, stickers, posters).

The team of scientists prepares methodology of analysis, studies and methods: questionnaires, focus interviews, deepen interviews.
