18-19.10.2008 Lublin Workshops for new organizations of European Voluntary Service European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation

European Meeting Centre – Foundation Nowy Staw invites for 2-day workshops for organizations which want to participate in European Voluntary Service - Action 2 of the programme "Youth in Action"

These workshops have been created specially for the organization wishing to start the implementation of projects under the Action 2 - European Voluntary Service. We would like to invite representatives of these organizations which think of hosting foreign volunteer or sending a person as a volunteer abroad.

The workshops are addressed to a non-profit organization with legal personality (foundation, association, body of local self-government, club sports, centre of culture, the child's house, etc.), seriously interested in projects of the European Voluntary Service.

The main aims of workshops are:


  • Providing detailed information about the objectives and principles of European Voluntary Service, the conditions how to be the host organization / sending ortganization under the programme „Youth in Action”
  • Knowing practical and formal part of EVS projects,
  • Preparing for the implementation of the first EVS project - Developing letters of expression

The workshops will take place in the European Meeting Centre in Nasutow near Lublin
from 18 to 19 October 2008

Participation in the workshops is free.

Organizer provides participants access to and from the place of workshops, and also covers the costs of accommodation and meals.
