Training for people interested in the programme
European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation invites representatives of non-governmental organizations, members of informal groups of young people, representatives of local self-government, the institution's staff working with young people, volunteers and young people from the Lublin region for training on the programme of the European Commission - "Youth in Action"..
The meeting will take place from 16th till 17th December 2009 in Nasutow, nearLublin.

Training for NGO's
Europe Direct - Lublin, European Information Point in Lublin, cordially invites the representatives of NGOs from Lubelskie Region to a training about opportunities of obtaining EU funds for the NGO's activities to the Operational Program Human Capital.

Become a coordinator of youth exchange projects! Learn about work with multicultural groups from all of the World.
You can become the coordinator of youth projects. You can learn about work between multicultural groups from all of the World. Like every year, European Meeting Centre- Nowy Staw Foundation would like to invite all of the people who would like to be the coordinators of youth projects in future.
The course will be held on 23- 26th of November 2009. This course will take place at Europeen Meeting Centre in Nasutów, nearby Lublin. The main points of this training is how to cooperate the projects, multicultural education and youth participation. What's more the participants will see how the Polish- German Youth Office and Youth in Action Program works.

Europe Direct - Lublin, European Information Point in Lublin, cordially invites you to the training devoted to the possibilities of obtaining structural funds for micro-, small and medium-sized companies in the region of Lublin. .

Project supported by the Polish-German Youth Office
The main base for Democracy
The young people from Niemce and Krasienin had a great opportunity to meet with their german friends and discuss the main points od Democracy, Integration and differences between their countries. The training took place in Blossin from 17th till 25 th of October.
During this time the participants took part in energaizing games, workshops, cultural activities and language animation . They could also discuss about some points of Democracy and see how it works in their countries. The project included also the trip to Berlin, where the participants could visit Bundestag, Wall in Berlin and remains of destructed church- the symbol of Second World War.

Training for organizations interested in European Voluntary Service - Action 2 of the "Youth in Action" programme
European Meeting Centre –Nowy Staw Foundation invites for 2-day training for organizations interested in European Voluntary Service - Action 2 of the "Youth in Action" programme which will take place in Nasutów near Lublin between 7th and 9th of December2009.
This training has been created specially for the organization wishing to start the implementation of the projects under the Action 2 - European Voluntary Service. We would like to invite representatives of these organizations which consider hosting or sending volunteer within framework of “Youth in Action” programme.

Debate: „Young Creative”
Informal group Akademia Złota 9 and European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation have the honour to invite the young people from the Lublin region to the debate entitled: “Young Creative”, which will take place on the 21st November 2009 in Blue Hall in Lublin’s voivodship office.
The aim of the debate is to pay youth’s attention to problems and challenges of modern world, as well as encourage to deepen knowledge about Lublin region, European Union and possibilities of media in modern world.

Activity, fitness and adequate nutrition
Between 14.11-24.11 youth from the Lublin area are going to visit their peers in Berlin. It is the revisit of the exchange, which took place in July in Nasutowie. Young Poles and Germans will have the opportunity to demonstrate their physical fitness during the course of education experience, as well as exchange experiences with the application of the rules of healthy eating.
The Polish-German meeting includes the game in Berlin, theater workshops and international evenings.

„Womens` Time”
Labour Market Institute
”Womens` Time” - the new Foundation Project: addressed to unemployed women living in Mazowieckie region.”
We are happy to announce a new Project entitled: “ Womens` Time” has been realized from the beginning of October 2009. Unemployed women – inhabitants of Mazowieckie region are the subjects to take part in it. All the women willing to come back to work after their maternity leave, lone parents, longtime unemployed, living in a countryside or far from any city are particularly welcomed. The Project Team delivers the full support including: an examination of ones vocational abilities and future career pathway (Vocational Counseling), new abilities of dealing with the labour market (Vocational Activity Workshop), development of ones vocational skills ( Computer Course, Vocational Course). The full access to ones practical abilities development regarding job placement will be delivered to all the participants in a form of the Vocational Training. All the journey costs will be refunded and proper meals for our workshops participants will be served. Our Project Office is localized in Radom.

The economical situation in Poland and Germany
Between 8th and 14th of November 2009 in European Meeting Centre in Nasutów will take place polish-german youth exchange. During the polish and german meeting participants from Lubelskie Region and Berlin will have the opportunity to compare not only the economical situation in both countries but also the chances of young people in polish and german labor market.
The project includes a visit in provincial office of work in Lublin, discussion about educational training and average budget of polish family and prices in polish and german shops. There are more important points of this training like cultural meetings and games.

"Over the walls Tomber les murs – Break down the barriers – Mauern stürzen”. A European meeting.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, representatives of the European Meeting House-New Staw Foundation at the invitation of "le Service Jeunes de la Communauté Mission de France" (The Youth Service of the Mission Community of France) had the honor to attend the conference under the title “ Over the walls- Break down the barriers 2009” which take place from 30.10-1.11.2009 in Berlin.
Meeting, over 200 young people from France, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and from Poland inspired the idea of commemorating 20 anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and in light of the forthcoming celebrations of the hill symbolic "ladder" over the walls and divisions.
Honorary patron of the meeting took the former European Commission President Jacques Delors.

Foundation as a member of the Platform for Young Workers of EZA
During the second already youth conference of European Centre for Workers` Questions which this time took place in Portugal, a new structure within EZA has been created – the Platform for Young Workers of EZA. The members of the Platform are young workers of the organizations associated in EZA.
The aim of the Platform is to increase the participation and activeness of young people on the European labour market. It should be a place of discussion about the problems of young workers and moreover the Platform guarantees the participation of the young generation in works of the European Centre for Workers` Questions. European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation is a member of the core group managing the Platform from the very beginning of the works on the Platform establishing and is also one of the organizers of the youth conference in Portugal.

Developmental tendencies of companies and demand for work in Lubelskie Voivodeship in the context of organization of Euro 2012 by Poland and Ukraine – diagnosis and prognosis
Labour Market Institute
The quantitative analysis of businessmen from our region are being realized. There are going to be done the qualitative analysis as well. They will give an opportunity to get to know a point of view of businessmen about subjects related to labour market.
The quantitative analysis of businessmen from Lubelskie Voivodeship are being realized by contractor and will be completed till the end of November. We are going to realize qualitative analysis, such as focus group interviews and deeper interviews, in a second part of month, and invite representatives of businessmen to participate in them. They will speak their minds about subjects like supply and demand in our area, expectation for particular professions and working competences, developmental tendencies of labour market. The information we gain, will be particularly important for the purpose of the study, will be used to prepare the prognosis of development of labour market and a role of organization of Euro 2012 in economical changes happening in region.
