Regional Center of European Information in Lublin
"Europe for Citizens""
Training will be devoted to programme "Europe for Citizens". During the training, a representative of the Association of Polish Cities, Katarzyna Paczyńska Focal Point and the staff will present the program "Europe for Citizens" from the formal (rules and criteria to apply for financial support) and practical (instructions for completing application forms, planning, methodology, promotion and financial administration project) point of view. We plan practical workshops on the design of the "Creation of thematic networking of twinned towns." We invite all potential beneficiaries to participate in the training (in particular) representatives of local and regional offices of city workers, representatives of NGOs; representatives of associations or federations of local bodies.

European Centre of Youth Co-operation
Training on "Youth in Action" programme
European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation invites representatives of non-governmental organizations, members of informal groups of young people, representatives of local self-government, the institution's staff working with young people, volunteers and young people from the Lublin region for training on the programme of the European Commission - "Youth in Action".
The meeting will take place between 23rd and 24th June 2010 in Nasutow, near Lublin.

European Centre of Youth Co-operation
The economic situation in Poland and Germany
By the 06th to 12th of June 2010 took place return visit of the German-Polish youth exchange "The economic situation in Poland and Germany" in Flecken Zechlin near Berlin.
During the exchange, participants paid particular attention to the organic market in Germany. Young Germans and Poles have developed an advertising campaign of Polish and German products and visited the ecological farm in Zempow, where they obtained such information as ecological animal husbandry.
In this exchange participants made study about health food stores in Berlin and visited the capitals of Germany actively.

Labour Market Institute
„Creative juggling against routine in your life”
Between 8-14 June „Creative juggling against routine in your life” project took place in Nasutow near Lublin. The project runs under Lifelong Learning Programme, Grundtvig workshops. There were 15 participants from Turkey, Great Britain, Portugal, Spain, Austria, France, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia and Romania taking part in this project. Workshops that took place in Nasutów near Lublin combined personal training, creativity, motivation and interpersonal communication workshops with juggling skills workshops. Learning juggling participants were breaking their own barriers, learning patience, self-confidence, creativity, team working – skills that will be very useful in their everyday life. Multicultural profile of workshops as well as wide range of participants’ age and career profile were also a valuable experience that gave a chance to open to diversity.

Europe Direct – Lublin
Training about the possibilities of gaining structural funds

Point of European Information Europe Direct – Lublin organized a training about the possibilities of gaining structural funds for the representatives of local government from Lublin Region. The training was organized in Conference and Training Centre of European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation in Nasutów on the 10th June 2010. The training consisted on following topics: operational programs for local government, guidelines for investment projects, preparing of application documents – application form, annexes.

European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation
Civil visit from the partner city Münster
At the beginning of June Lublin hosted a delegation from the partner city Münster. The partnership of cities consists mostly on human contacts, thats why we invited the citizens of Münster to visit Lublin. The organisers of the visit are the Civil Association Lublin-Münster, the European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation and Förderverein Münster-Lublin in Germany.
The aim of the meeting was to get to know the inhabitants of the partner city with our city and region and moreover with the local community and the institutions of Lublin. The 28 guests met with the President of Lublin Włodzimierz Wysocki, Priest Dariusz Chwastek Rector of the Evangelic Parish in Lublin, Archbishop Abel and the Consul of Honour of Germany in Lublin.
In the program there were sightseeing visits, the guests from Germany visited Lublin (Old Town, Castle Chapel, heritage park), Zamość and Poleski National Park. They also visited the Museum in Majdanek.

European Centre of Youth Co-operation
„Happy Hours”
„Happy Hours” is the title of the youth exchange project, which is taking place from the 7th to 16th of June in Nasutów near Lublin. The project gathers young people from five very different countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Armenia and Georgia. „Happy Hours” is the psychological - musical exchange, which aim is to open people for innovative forms of arts. Participants are working in to two workshop groups- media and music with the main aim at creating the song that will be presented at the public in city of Lublin in innovative way by using flash mobs. During the project will also take place psychological workshops, thanks to which participants will have the chance to open and overcome all barriers and as well to raise their self-esteem.

Community Media Centre
Open Studio – Night of Culture
European web-TV team and volunteers of our Foundation are preparing media coverage of the Night of Culture, which will be held on the 5th of June 2010 in Lublin. Many things will be going on. Open TV studio at the Market Square in Lublin, report ' big picture' on the weblog nockultury.europeanweb.tv, 4 web-TV teams and media coverage live in the internet. Open Web-TV studio is the initiative of our Foundation during the Night of Culture. Our TV reporters will make media coverage of concerts, performances, theaters, street art and many other things, that wil happen in Lublin during that night. In the studio there will be discussions, interviews and talks recorded and streamed on-line. The studio will be placed at the Market Square in Lublin and open to the artists, event managers and citizens of Lublin. Web-TV reporters from Germany, Turkey, Latvia and France came especially for this event to work with us. You can follow the Night of Culture on-line at our special weblog: nockultury.europeanweb.tv

Training “European Funds for culture”
On 05.06.2010 in the Hall of the Lublin Union in Dominicans monastery we healed a training "European Funds for culture." The training was attended by representatives of cultural institutions, libraries, cultural centers, NGOs, local governments. During the training we presented the possibility of European funding on both the investment projects related to culture, as well as cultural events. Participants familiarized themselves with Regional Operational Programme of Lublin Province, European Social Fund, Lifelong Learning Programme and Programme Culture 2007-2013. After the theoretical part Benedikt Althoff representing the association Bennohaus from Münster twin city of Lublin shared practical information with the participants. The training was organized in celebration of "Night of Culture"

X Congress of European School Clubs about the “European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion ",
On 27 May 2010 in the Blue Hall in the Regional Office in Lublin took place on the 10-th Congress of the Regional School European Clubs. The theme of this year's meeting was the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion.
The meeting was attended by students of primary, secondary schools and schools of the Lublin province belonging to the European School Club and attending the classes with European profile. This year’s guests at the Congress were: Father Philip Buczynski President The Little Prince' Hospice for Children in Lublin and Ewa Dados - Radio journalist and the originator of share "Help children survive the winter." In addition, a speech to the young people sent Jan Mela - Ambassador of the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, President of the “Beyond the horizons foundation". Organizers of the meeting was represented by prof. Lena Kolarska-Bobińska MEP, Krzysztof Babisz School Superintendent and Tomasz Różniak the President of the European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation.
